Media Consultant

I have launched some of the world’s most prominent news channels. I joined Al Jazeera English a year before it went to air, and was a key member of the team setting up the news centre in Kuala Lumpur.

I presented, and contributed editorially to Now TV’s groundbreaking international broadband channel in London. It was the first of it’s kind and set the stage for the Pay-TV and cable revolution that followed.

CNBC is known for setting the trend for 24-hour financial news stations. I was part of the start-up team in Hong Kong which made CNBC become Asia’s leading business news channel.

My experience spans the globe’s most reputable stations, like Al Jazeera English, CNN, BBC, ITN and CNBC, across two continents. In the newsroom I have worked as an anchor, writer, producer and program editor. I have been a correspondent in almost every country in Asia. It’s put me in a prime position help set up news stations, advise and revamp existing news outfits, and train journalists.
